CYD ("CYD," "we," "us," or "our") provides marketing, automation, and dashboard/reporting infrastructure for home service businesses. These Terms & Conditions govern your use of our websites (including this site, our lead-qualification quiz, and any linked subdomains) and any services you purchase from us. By using our sites or engaging our services, you agree to these terms.
We build and manage marketing, advertising, automation, CRM, and reporting systems on behalf of our clients. Specific deliverables, timelines, and pricing for any engagement are set out separately in a signed proposal, statement of work, or service agreement between CYD and the client — those documents take precedence over this general page in the event of any conflict.
Our short intake quiz is used to route you to the right next step (a Foundation or Vantage conversation) based on your answers. Submitting the quiz is not a purchase or a binding commitment — it's how we prepare for a conversation with you. Booking a call through our Cal.com scheduling tool reserves a time slot; we ask that you give us reasonable notice if you need to reschedule or cancel.
Our stated philosophy is that clients should own what they pay for. For paid engagements, the specific systems, automations, dashboards, and assets built for you become your property upon full payment, as detailed in your service agreement. This does not extend to CYD's own pre-existing tools, templates, frameworks, or general methodology, which remain our intellectual property and may be reused across other client engagements.
Fees, payment schedules, and any deposit requirements are agreed in writing before work begins, as part of your individual service agreement. Late or missing payment may result in a pause of active work or services until the account is brought current.
We build real infrastructure and put genuine effort into performance — but marketing, advertising, and sales outcomes depend on many factors outside our control (market conditions, your team's follow-up, seasonality, third-party platform changes, and more). We do not guarantee specific revenue, lead volume, or ranking outcomes unless such a guarantee is explicitly stated in a signed agreement.
Our sites and workflows rely on third-party tools — including but not limited to Cal.com for scheduling, and various ad, CRM, and automation platforms used to deliver services. We aren't responsible for outages, changes, or issues originating from those third-party providers, though we'll work to resolve any impact on your account promptly.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, CYD's total liability for any claim arising from your use of our sites or services is limited to the amount you've paid us in the twelve months preceding the claim. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, including lost profits or lost data.
Either party may end an active engagement in line with the notice terms set out in that engagement's service agreement. Sections of these Terms that by their nature should survive termination (ownership, payment for work already completed, limitation of liability) will continue to apply.
We may update these Terms from time to time to reflect changes in our services or for legal reasons. We'll update the "Last updated" date above when we do. Continued use of our sites after changes take effect means you accept the revised terms.
